What Our Location Offers

Thousand Island Park is a community founded in 1875 that is on the National Register of Historic Places because of its many Victorian period houses. We have a view of one of the gems of the community but most of the historic houses are a short walk away. We are on the headland of Wellesley Island, the Wellesley Island State Park golf course is across the street. The State Park Nature Center is a pleasant hour's walk. The American Channel of the St. Lawrence River provides quick access to all the beautiful sites of the Thousand Islands, as well as fishing areas. The Thousand Islands region is a good place to begin your tour of Canada. Montreal is 3 hours away, and Toronto 3 1/2 hours. There is a smaller house attached to the rental house that we visit everyday for a few hours in the afternoon to replenish our supplies. (We live in a cabin in the woods without a refrigerator during the summer.) So we will be available on a daily basis to make your stay more enjoyable.
